Wow, it's been a while since I've posted! But these past few days have been so hectic. Like, honestly.
Also, can we talk about how crazy fast the fashion calendar moves! In the past month we have witnessed Pre-Fall 2012, Menswear Fall 2012, and Haute Couture Spring 2012. And in a few weeks Fall 2012 Fashion Week shows will be under way! BANANAS. So many clothes, so little time...
And although this blog is geared towards female fashion, let's just take a minure to honor men's fashion. I mean, I am a man after all.
And taking a cue from one of my greatest style icons, Vogue Nippon's
Anna Dello Russo, I decided I would model a few of my favorite Menswear Fall 2012 looks. Yep, that's right. You didn't know I was a model!?
Me in Versace
Me in Burberry Prorsum
Me in Gucci
Me in DSquared2
Me in Dries Van Noten
Cute, right?
The standout trend of the Fall 2012 menswear shows was definitely the classic suit, reintrepreted different ways. Some designers, such as Burberry Prorsum, kept it rather classic and chic, while others like Dries Van Noten went a bit more avant garde.
Men have become a lot more fashion-conscious over the last decade or so, and style is becoming more and more of a priority. Guys know that if they look great, they'll feel great and attract great things in life. Money, cars, buxom blondes...You know, the essentials.
